Getting to the Wandsworth Museum

The Wandsworth Museum is on the corner of West Hill and Santos Road in the downtown area of Wandsworth Town, South London. It is  across from St Thomas a Becket Roman Catholic Church and opposite the West Hill Fire Station.

Buses

The museum is located near the Wandsworth Museum Bus Stop on West Hill.

The following buses stop there:

170  Roehampton to Victoria

337  Richmond to Clapham Junction

37  Putney Heath to Peckham

Underground and Trains

Wandsworth Town Train Station is within a 10 minute walking distance of the museum. Walk west along Old York Road and proceed west on Armoury Way until it curves south and joins West Hill. The museum is just up the hill on the North Side of the road.

East Putney Tube Station is within a 10 minute walking distance of the museum. Walk east along Upper Richmond Road and the proceed east along West Hill.

Cars and Parking

The Wandsworth Museum has no public parking available on site, but has disabled parking available by appointment in the staff car park. As a member of the Green Museum Scheme we encourage visitors to use public transport to visit the museum. Public parking is available in the Wandsworth Town Centre at Southside Mall. This can be reached via Buckhold Road and Neville Gill Close.
