View the new Portrait of London exhibition at the first of regular Late Openings on the first Thursday of each month.  The exhibition features over 60 fascinating historic images from both the Museum of London and Wandsworth Museum’s collections, never before seen together.

Highlights include a captivating photo of a suffragette stand at the Women’s Exhibition of 1909 and a view of Trafalgar Square from 1857 taken by Roger Fenton, one of the most influential British photographers of the 1850s.  The exhibition also includes a selection of 19^thand early 20^th century photos of the Borough of Wandsworth.

The bar will be open on the night, as will the De Morgan Centre, located in the same building – an unparalleled collection of paintings, drawings and ceramics by Arts and Crafts artists William and Evelyn De Morgan, featuring the special exhibition Voyages of Discovery: De Morgans and the Sea.  The Wandsworth Museum Shop will be offering a 20% discount on most books and gifts during the Late Opening.
