On Saturday 6 September, Wandsworth Museum and young participants from The Challenge Network are hosting a 1940s/1950s inspired tea party. Come along to explore original museum items and share your own or your family memories of this era in Wandsworth’s history.

Young people from The Challenge Network will be on hand to host and to welcome guests.

This tea party is FREE but booking is required.

Join us for tea, cakes, conversation and commemoration.   This year marks the centenary of the start of the First World War and on Sunday 7th September, we are holding a tea party at Wandsworth Museum to chat and to explore what life was like for Wandsworth residents during the First World War. Artefacts from the Museum collection will be on display and young participants from The Challenge Network will be on hand to host and to welcome guests.
