In the mid to late 18th Century Earlsfield was the scene for the boisterous Mayor of Garratt elections. Quirky candidates required quick wit and ability to entertain the crowd. Come along to the museum to create a Major of Garratt costume, go on parade and crown a new Mayor!

Mini Muse Mum and Baby Art Mornings

An Art class for you – bring baby – all welcome!

What could be better than meeting weekly for a Mini Muse class with like-minded mums for some creative head-space, with expert tuition, art materials and childcare available?

Whether you are an art and design professional or complete novice, Mini Muse classes provide you with the inspiration and confidence you need to get creative. Mums-to-be are very welcome.

Wednesdays in the Museum Cafe

10.30-11.30: Art class with Virginie – (French/English bilingual teacher)
10.30-12.30: Open studio time where you are free to continue working while having a coffee and a chat with other mums.

The cost for the class is £16.00. Onsite crèche available for £5.00 per hour.Fantastic value Mini Muse Art kits also available.
